the Mountain Echo
A community-based podcast serving the people of Lookout Mountain in Chattanooga, TN and north Georgia with episodes concerning our mountaintop neighborhood. We feature the people of our community, both longtime and new residents, discussing their interests and passions, including their own families. We also feature information on neighborhood groups, events and efforts, as well as hearing from some of our young folks. Serving both the Georgia and Tennessee side as one community, our goal is to increase personal bonds and connection through awareness, knowledge and sharing via neighborhood podcast episodes. We look forward to meeting new folks and to helping everyone be better informed about our wonderful neighborhood and its people. We welcome your thoughts and ideas at: tME, PO Box 7, Lookout Mountain, TN 37350

2023 The Torch passes hands at Lookout Mountain School; Thank you Ruth White, Welcome Emily Haney!
She's headed north folks! With Georgia in the rearview mirror and Tennessee ahead, this lady is LMS bound - and boy are we lucky.
A career educator, this lady is passionate about two things - the Lookout Mountain community and her mission of educating children.
Just from what little time we have spent with Emily, it's doubtful this educator has yet to meet a challenge she didn't rise to meet.
Energy, drive and passion, all describe our new Principal.
Please join the Mountain Echo as we bow in respect and gratitude to Ruth White and we stand to honor the hard work and accomplishments of both Emily Haney and Missy McKenna to the roles of Principal and Assistant Principal, respectively. Thank you also to the Lookout Mountain School Board of Education for their care and leadership.
It appears, yet again, we got it right.
Welcome to Tennessee!
We are all with you Emily!
Go LMS!
**Note - Special ending song dedicated to Emily Haney for beginning her new chapter in leadership with us.
